I grew up in a home where the love for cooking and baking was passed down through generations. My grandmother was an avid baker and my mother also loved cooking and was famous for her delicious steamed pudding which brought warmth to every family functions. This passion was shared with me and my sister from a young age and I quickly fell in love with it.
After experiencing COVID-19 in 2020 and 2021, I lost much of my sense of smell and taste and it has never fully returned. As a result, I’m always exploring new ways to make food more flavorful for myself, while ensuring it’s not too spicy or salty for my family. This journey has shaped how I cook today, with care, creativity, and a deep love for sharing good food.
